Hi Helen,
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your seminar at Generic Knitters in Colorado. You are so much fun and I thoroughly enjoyed your techniques. I was wondering where the freebie pattern was and if you could send it or put it on your website.
Thanks again and I hope you come back again,
Rose Barrette

Hi RTose, if you go to my blog on my web site and scroll down you will find them. I have just sent the Ribber afghan for baby through knig size to Judy so she will send that out, it is not on the web site but in a book of mine.
So glad you enjoyed the seminar, i did. I would love to come back sometime. Helen

Thank you for presenting our May seminar for the Generic Knitters in Colorado. I know you had to go back to California to warm up! We hope you will come again soon. Like Rose & Cheri I did not find the Baby Blanket or patterns you spoke of @ the seminar. Judy did send up the hand out, so we thank you for those. Keep knitting & striping and having fun!

Hi Sharron, i have just sent the blanket to Judy, she will send it out to all of you. I am glad you enjoyed the seminar, i did, i would love to come back some time. Helen

Luanne and Sister have talked about you so much at the Triangle Machine Knitters club in Raleigh NC. Here's my question -- I want to make some light weight knit pants. I'm afraid the Wool Crepe will be to warm. I love Janiero but its to expensive for me to make pants. And lastly what does the lycra do we you put them into pants. I have a lot of Nomi Acrylic and Cottons do you think I can make pants out of that. I don't care for the Tamm yarns as they didn't look as good as the Wool Crepe I've also used Mini Dina which come out like a dream. Do you have any other yarn suggestions I usually like wide leg pants that drape -- the Coco Chanel style.

Hi Cheryl, any hard twist dress yarn will make great pants, i would not use all acrylic they will bag in the knee and seat. The wool crepe that i have seen lately from BTYarns is a thinner yarn i dont think that would be too heavy for you. If you put lycra in with your yarn it will help with the bagging but can make them seem heavy and warm, does not mean that it will be. I am not sure i would use cotton as it has no memory.
I hope all the talk was good, lol Helen
